La
Quinta Resort & Club

The Dunes course has held both the California State Open and PGA Tour
Qualifying School. Designed by Pete Dye, it provides a relaxing round
of golf with spectacular views of the surrounding mountain and desert
landscapes. Well bunkered with railroad ties and lots of water. The PGA
of America rated 414 yard par-4 17th one of the country's toughest holes.
Golf Magazine rates La Quinta's courses a silver medalist for 1991-92.
The Mountain course combines everything the desert has to offer. Many
famous tournaments have been played on this legendary and exclusive "
VIP players only " golfer's paradise. Noted for pot bunkers, rock
formations, sand and water. Watch for the par-3 16th hole which has a
green that is surrounded by desert mountain rocks. The course has been
the home to the World Cup, the PGA National Clup Pro Championships and
the California State Open. One of the top courses in the valley.
