Golf Club
The Aviara Golf Course is located north of San Diego overlooking the
Batquitos Lagoon in Carlsbad. Both Golf Digest and Golf Magazine have
named this Arnold Palmer designed course one of the best resort courses
in America. Framed by abundant native wildflowers, the challenging layout
winds through rolling valleys and offers views of the Pacific Ocean. This
course may be the "best maintained" course in San Diego. The
pre and post play service provided by the Aviara staff is absolutely superb
and considered by many to be the standard by which all other courses are
measured in San Diego. The elegantly appointed clubhouse features a bar
and restaurant with indoor and outdoor seating, locker rooms and an upscale
golf shop. The course includes a driving range and an oversized practice
putting green.
Directions
Approximately 40 minutes from downtown, the Aviara Golf Club is located
in Carlsbad.From l-5 take the Poinsettia Lane / Aiara Parkway exit, go
east 1/2 mile to Batiquitos drive, trun right at the signal light and
follow to the clubhouse. Please allow ample time for traffic conditions.
